Err… Anyway, our hosts and our quiz setter are amongst the best in the industry… and the drinks will be down to you.
Our hosts (professional comedians) present the quiz nights in a relaxed and welcoming manner. They bring humour and light-hearted banter to the event. Our quizzes are produced by a professional (TV and Radio) quiz setter. More details and credits for them are in the section further down called Quiz Nights Extra Info 3. The Quiz Master and Setter.
Our quizzes cover a wide breadth of interests, so that every team and person can feel they’ve contributed. The questions range up to the challenging but never impossibly obscure. We are also a firm believer in that the event should be fun. That is with a capital FUN. Some of the most memorable rounds are those that our question producer has set on purpose to be unlike any other quiz. Teams will get points for trivia, winning games and being funny… but will they play their joker on the right round?
The night also, of course, caters for the serious quizzers. There is a full quiz of questions, alongside the banter and fun. Whether it’s the fun or the serious rounds, they will all spark conversations and give people opportunities to showcase their hidden depths of knowledge or talents.
We are confident that our quizzes are amongst the best in the industry, and our hosts are the funniest. Our Quiz Nights are all about the fun… the questions… whose round it is… and what the name of that band from the 80s was?

1. Extra Charges
These are the things that will be added on top of the Quiz Night cost.
What’s Included in the Price
With all bookings we provide:
pens, papers, and full quiz equipment (including props and items for various rounds), the customised quiz questions and the answer sheets.
What We Can Bring Along for No Extra Cost
We’d rather not have full set ups for the quiz nights. If you have your own sound system, a mic and a mic stand, and you have an extra XLR input (for another mic) we can bring a state-of-the-art headset mic and a music player for the music rounds. The music player needs a 3.5mm or RCA (Phono) jacks.
If you have booked multiple nights, on some nights we can bring a mobile screen for the picture and what happened next video rounds.
Equipment £50
Many venues have their own lighting and sound. If not, we can bring everything with us. For a quiz night, this may be overkill. We don’t mind (for this event only) if you want to book the night – without having the amp/mics/speakers and you don’t want us to bring them either. But the night is so much better with a fully miked host. Please see the above section – as if you have or can borrow a speaker/amp for the night, we can bring a mic and a music player for no extra cost.
Otherwise, if you want the full set up: our equipment includes a big white board to keep the running scores and team names, a mobile screen which is used for certain picture/film rounds, multiple lights for the host, and disco lights with lasers - which are great for the intervals, pre-show music. We also have state-of-the-art headsets and handheld wireless mics, amp, speakers, all the wires and extensions, plus safety tape and cable protectors.
Congestion Charge £15
If your venue is inside the Congestion Charge, and you need us to bring the sound and lighting, we would add the cost of this onto each show you book.
Petrol
If your venue is within 20 miles of E14 5AA (Canary Wharf, London) there is no charge. Anything further is charged at £1 per each mile. Below is a map of the 20-mile ‘free’ radius.

2. Nights & Bookings

How to Book
Just select which option you want, above, and pay the deposit - then we will contact you to arrange the date/s for your shows. You then need to pay the balance for each night booked, before each night starts. If you have a FREE show, that will be the last show of your booking.
The Discount
The pricing is for new customers only, and covers these days of the week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The pricing is for all months of the year except December. If you want December or Friday/Saturday dates please contact us.
The Quizzes
We often have rounds in our normal quizzes that are bespoke to your venue/customers. We have rounds that involve skills, silliness, and fun. But the bulk of the night is set up as a real quiz, but with a warm, fun, host.
Request a Show
If you have a request we can provide specialist quizzes, such as entire quizzes on ‘Seinfeld’ ‘F1’ or ‘Harry Potter’. We will often put on such shows for corporate clients.

Why No Act Names?
We have listed a few credits and bits of info about some of the acts we book to host the quiz nights in the comedy section and have listed some credits about our professional quiz producer. If you book a show, you will get an act whose credits have been listed in the comedy section, most likely. If not, the act you get will be at least as experienced. Some acts we can’t listed information for, as we can’t reveal any names [and some credits might make it too obvious/easy to work out who they are]. If you want to know why we can’t give out the names of the acts [basically it’s our agreement with their agents] please check out the FAQ page on this website.
Our Hosts
All our hosts [Quiz Masters] are professional headline stand-up comics. They all have a clear professionally trained voice – as a quiz shouldn’t be made artificially more difficult because the host mumbles. Some companies say you get a comedian and you are actually getting a new act. With us, you are getting the exact same main acts as if you booked one of our comedy shows. See this section on the comedy page for some credits of the acts who host our quiz nights. And yes, that’s right, presenting your quiz night will be an act who, for over a decade, has headlined comedy nights. We also try, as best we can, to keep your host the same each week to build up your audience.
Our Question Setter
Our quizzes are set by a professional quiz setter. As well as setting far too many to mention bespoke quizzes for live events both in the leisure and corporate sectors, he’s quiz produced for TV shows, and has for many years, and continues to do so, for a long running Radio Show.
