Comedy Bookings Extra Info
1. Extra Charges
These are the things that will be added on top of the show cost.
Equipment £50
Many venues have their own lighting and sound. If not, we can bring everything with us. We have multiple lights for the performers, disco lights with lasers for the pre-show and intervals, state of the art headsets and handheld wireless mics, amp, speakers, all the wires and extensions, plus safety tape and cable protectors.
Congestion Charge £15
If your venue is inside the Congestion Charge, and you need us to bring the sound and lighting, we would add the cost of this onto each show you book.
Petrol
If your venue is within 20 miles of E14 5AA (Canary Wharf, London) there is no charge. Anything further is charged at £1 per each mile. Below is a map of the 20-mile ‘free’ radius.

2. Shows & Bookings
This section has some further info about the shows and how to book.
How to Book
Just select which option you want, above, and pay the deposit - then we will contact you to arrange the date/s for your shows. You then need to pay the balance for each show booked, before each show starts. If you have a FREE show, that will be the last show of your booking.
The Discount
The pricing is for new customers only, and covers these days of the week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The pricing is for all months of the year except December. If you want December or Friday/Saturday dates please contact us.
Extra Acts
You always get the main acts you have booked. Sometimes we will put a new act on doing a short set (this act you are not paying for), often times this act will be local to your area, as this helps bring in extra punters.
Regular Host
If you book multiple shows, we try and get you the same MC (where possible) as that consistency with a different headline act each show – really helps build a club night.
Material Warning
The comedy acts may use naughty words, or talk about subjects that are a little ‘blue’. Many of them may not. If you need a clean show, do let us know at the time of booking, as we have excellent clean acts – or acts that can work clean. Otherwise, the norm for comedy shows is for the acts to be allowed to talk about things that are a little blue. We don’t have any ‘shock’ comics that we book, who just use profanity instead of any semblance of a joke. As, those sort of acts (other than for the occasional rare audience) don’t really work. We have put on a lot of successful shows to family audiences, so can easily accommodate this request – but our starting point [unless you inform us otherwise] is to book the best acts for the night – and to not select only those who work clean.

3. Acts
This section has some act info.
Why No Act Names?
We have listed a few credits and bits of info about some of the main acts we book for your shows. If you book a show, you will likely get one or two of the acts listed below. All our main acts are of a similar level of experience. Some acts I haven’t listed at all, as we can’t reveal their names [and some credits might make it too obvious/easy to work out who they are]. If you want to know why we can’t give out the names of the acts [basically it’s our agreement with their agents] please check out the FAQ page on this website.
Our Main Acts
This is a small selection of our main acts. With a few credits for each.
A comedian who has almost 20 years of Stand Up Comedy experience, in fact all of our main comedians listed here have well over a decade of experience. In 2022 the act was a recurring character in Emmerdale, he had a lead part in a Ridley Scott HBO mini-series, and was a resident MC for the UKs biggest comedy club chain.
A comedian who is often spoken of as being one of the best crowd workers in the country, for the last five years has presented his own London Radio show, been the billed support act for Frank Skinner, TV work includes lead parts in comedy shows with Richard Briers and David Walliams, and for six months was on TV nightly as Channel 4’s resident stand-up comedian [4Later].
A comedian who has won multiple comedy awards including an Edinburgh Festival Comedy Award. For the last five years they have produce a (yearly) new full length show, to great acclaim. And they write gags and material used by some of the country’s top performers.
The next regular comedian we book, as a main act, has more than 20 years as a professional entertainer, an experienced live performer at theatres, cabaret clubs and other live entertainment venues, an episode winner on ITV’s Big Talent Show, other television credits include The Des O’Connor Show, and Talking Telephone Numbers.
A comedian who in the 70s extensively toured as the support act to MUD. He’s known for his sunny outlook, quick-fire jokes, and comedy songs. He’s acted in a few films including one made by Guy Richie’s production company. His upbeat comedy act, being a ‘clean act’, has led to many TV spots on shows such as Dale Winton’s and in regular segments in Alan Titchmarsh’s Show, as Captain Q in Fern Britton’s, and as a panellist on ‘That’s Life’.
